Anti Sexual Harassment Committees
Objectives
- Prevention of sexual harassment for the girl students in the institution.
- To take action as per the procedure set forth by UGC, Court, and AICTE.
- Establish and maintain easy and conducive mechanisms to escalate if any issue comes up and ensure action based on the gravity of the issue.
Scope and Cadence
- All activities related to the prevention and incidence of sexual harassment.
- Thrice a Semester.
Process
- Regular Scheduled and ad-hoc meetings with MOM.
- Prevention Action Plan.
- Incident complaint mechanism, Action Taking Procedure and Awareness.

Responsibilities
The Committee will look into the following
- To gain insight into the issues concerned with gender inequalities violence and insecurities faced by women employees and girl students.
- To evaluate grievances and to suggest measures and actions for achieving safe and healthy environment.
- Spreading awareness among the students about the social, legal and constitutional rights of women in order to prevent the exploitation based on gender.
