Open source software tools available for Plagiarism

Turnitin (SimCheck): While Turnitin is a commercial plagiarism detection service; it offers SimCheck, a freely available version for educational institutions. It provides similarity checking and originality reports.

Moss (Measure of Software Similarity): Originally developed for detecting plagiarism in programming assignments, Moss is widely used in academia. It supports various programming languages and can detect similarities in source code.

Plagiarism Checker X: This tool is designed for educators, students, and content creators. It can compare documents against a large database and provides detailed reports on similarities found.
