A candidate for admission to the first year of 4-year B.Tech. degree programme under Category-A:
- must have passed the intermediate examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the JNTUH as equivalent thereto.
- shall have to qualify in the EAMCET examination conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
- Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
2. For admission under Category-B
A candidate for admission to the first year of 4-year B.Tech. degree programme under Category-B must have secured 60% of marks in the intermediate examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the JNTUH as equivalent thereto.
3. For admission to B.Tech. Degree (Lateral Entry) Programme
A candidate for admission to the second year of 4-year B.Tech. degree programme:
- must have completed the Diploma/Polytechnic.
- shall have to qualify in the TSECET examination conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
- Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
