Vision
Create an environment to learn how to win with grace and lose with dignity over fun games. These values will continue into the everyday life of the students.
Mission
Provide a safe and fun environment away from the stresses of academia for all game lovers whether it be playing Games or Designing Games.
Objectives
- Lead the students of SPHN into making strong, smart, and effective decisions.
- Influence students to make better choices by representing leadership characteristics, including responsibility, trustworthiness, and respectability.
- To promote and coordinate student participation in recreational, social & cultural activities.
- To develop skills in group cooperation and ethical and transparent interaction.
- Providing members with opportunities to participate in relevant academic, professional, cultural, and networking activities.
- Collaborate with organisations, Clubs, Government Bodies, NGOs, and private organisations to help students find meaningful volunteer opportunities, externships, and employment as applicable.
Preamble
- Every Student can be a member in a maximum of 3 clubs and a minimum 1 club. However, one cannot hold more than one office position put together all clubs.
- Gamers Clubs will follow the Calendar Year.
Membership of Gamers Club
- Membership is open to any currently enrolled SPHN Students. Only one level of membership is available.
- This Club shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, gender, disability or handicap, religion, gender orientation, department, procedures, and practices. This policy will include but is not limited to recruiting, membership, organisation activities, or opportunity to hold office.
- Only currently enrolled students are allowed to be a member and run for club offices.
- Current members may bring up new business during the open floor session of regularly scheduled meetings.
- A non-refundable membership fee of Rs 10 per annum to be paid by every student to be and maintain the membership. Clubs that do not have sufficient membership, considered to be at least 50 as of January 20, or do not carry out any educationally purposeful activities for ONE semester will be placed on probation. A club that remains on probation for two semesters will be dissolved.
- Clubs that violate these bylaws may face dissolution.
- For certain activities (such as plays, concerts, and shows) the club Office, after consultation with the Management, may solicit the help and participation of Outsiders (Experts, Trainers, Volunteers from NGOs, etc.,) needed on an ad-hoc basis because of their specific talents or skills. Such persons will not have any right to participate, influence, and guide this Club Office.
- The duration of membership shall be from January 1 to December 31 of every year.
